Invention is key to creating jobs for the youth and spurring the\neconomy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Any\ngreat nation supports this culture of creation among the youth. Successful\ninnovations have also benefited the public once they have been commercialized.\nFor example, M-Pesa totally revolutionized e-commerce in Kenya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One\nmajor challenge that innovators face is little access to funding opportunities.\nSome had rather invest in opportunities which are low risk and in businesses\nthat have historical records on profitability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Innovation funding is a high\nrisk venture primarily because there is little historical evidence as to\nwhether the venture will succeed or fail. Innovations have not been tested to\nunderstand their market reception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However,\nit is for the same reasons that they present the investor with an opportunity\nto participate in high returns. Returns from successful innovations are very\nhigh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most\nof today\u2019s wealthiest people are techpreneurs and other innovators. Here are\nsome examples, Bill Gates of Microsoft, Jeff Bezos of Amazon, Elon Musk of\nTesla and Space X, Mark Zuckerberg and Jack Ma of Alibaba. All of these\nprofitable companies attained profitability due to innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Inasmuch as innovation based investments carry high risk, they also carry high returns. It is an investment opportunity for the risk takers.
