Most regions will be\nwet the whole of this week, said the Kenya Meteorological Department (KMD).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cRainfall\nis expected to intensify to more than 40mm in 24 hours from Thursday to Sunday\nover the Coast, south eastern, north eastern, western and central regions,\nincluding Nairobi,\u201d said the weatherman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>FLOODS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>People in\nMombasa, Kwale, Kilifi, parts of Tana River and Lamu should be on the lookout\nfor floods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Torrential\nrainfall is also expected in Nairobi, Nyeri, Kiambu, Nyandarua, Murang\u2019a, Embu,\nMeru, Kirinyaga, Tharaka-Nithi, Kitui, Machakos, Makueni, Taita Taveta, Busia,\nKisii, Nyamira, Kericho, Bomet, Nakuru and Narok. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nation.co.ke\/news\/Met-warns-of-flash-floods\/1056-5312756-ragyx5z\/index.html\">Read\nmore&gt;&gt;<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Daily Nation Kenyans were on Tuesday put on high alert over the possibility of floods, landslides and storms in several parts of the country.
