The Middle East\nand North Africa, Latin America and Caribbean, and South Asia regions are\nexpected to see even larger downward revisions in their growth forecasts than\nin Sub-Saharan Africa for 2019,\u201d the report read in part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The recovery in Nigeria,\nSouth Africa, and Angola, the region\u2019s three largest economies, has remained\nweak and is weighing on growth prospects. In Nigeria, growth in the non-oil\nsector has been sluggish, while in Angola the oil sector remained weak. In\nSouth Africa, low investment sentiment is weighing on economic activity.<br>\n&nbsp;<br>\n\u201cAfrica\u2019s economies are not immune to what is happening in the rest of the\nworld, and this is reflected in the subdued growth rates across the region.
