Youth around the world are already\ntaking action, because there is no time to lose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Costa\u2019s\nsolution is to work with the Luchaze community in the Eastern Angolan\nhighlands, threatened by unsustainable livelihood practices following the\ncountry\u2019s three-decade-long civil war which ended in 2002, as well as clearing\nof Miombo woodland once landmines are removed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As\ncommunities return to the land, protecting the Miombo woodland which traps\nwater and nurtures rich biodiversity is critical to protect environmental\ndegradation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Okavango River Basin is a vital ecosystem and part of the largest freshwater wetland in Southern Africa.
