Brazil\u2019s president, the far-right nationalist and conspiracy theorist Jair Bolsonaro, accused Macron of a \u201ccolonialist mindset\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bolsonaro has\nangrily played down the fires as a \u201cdomestic Brazilian issue\u201d and an annual\nphenomenon, while trying to blame NGOs without any evidence.
