Plastic also worsened their kidney\nfunction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seabird deaths due to\nconsuming or becoming stuck in plastic are well-understood, the scientists from\nthe University of Tasmania&#8217;s Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies (IMAS)\nsaid.
