For the first time after decades of HIV\/Aids devastation, the world is staring at a real possibility of finding a cure for the disease. Importantly, a Kenyan is at the forefront of the research expected to wipe HIV from the face of the earth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recently, it was announced that Benson Edagwa\nand a team of researchers had successfully eliminated HIV from humanized mice\n(mice carrying functioning human genes).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This\nis the first time such a feat has been pulled off.
