These ailments\ninclude non-communicable diseases, which are directly related to what one eats\nand physical exercise as well as one\u2019s mental health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There has been some\nintervention by the government through the universal healthcare initiative,\nwhich is overseeing the upgrading and equipping of public hospitals. Of more\nimportance, however, is the need to place additional emphases on educating the\npublic on healthy habits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The government could\nplay their role in this, but research has shown that there is a lot of mistrust\nin government-led initiatives and people will tend to listen and gravitate\ntowards listening to entities that live with them and show an interest in their\ndaily living, this is where brands come in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">People interact on a\ndaily basis with brands, this interaction has been amplified by the growing\nnumber of communication channels creating a unique opportunity for brands to\napply their influence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This influence is\ndefined by the culture of the brand and it is up to them to positively apply\nit.
