Just like a firm\u2019s\nmanagement practices, it is influencing the business value.<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There has been a\nmovement towards establishment of sustainability activities for large, medium\nand small enterprises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a recent study more than 89\npercent of CEO\u2019s confirmed that sustainability is fundamental to success of any\nbusiness and there is clear evidence based on the amount of efforts that top\nmanagement put towards sustainable strategies: such as developing sustainable\nproducts and services, creating sustainability departments and publishing\nsustainability reports, involving their stakeholders as part of the business\necosystem etc.\n\nBut what is sustainability?\nThere are many versions. I will, however restrict myself to the definition\nprovided by my friend Dr Michael Hopkins CEO at MHCi who defines it as that\nsituation where activities undertaken by the business ensure that all the\nstakeholders are treated responsibly or ethically.
