But even here, the company expects fossil fuels to remain integral to energy security and industrial supply chains for decades.<\/p>\n

The Rupture scenario; the only one compatible with the Paris Agreement\u2019s \u201cwell below 2\u00b0C\u201d target, would demand unprecedented global coordination, massive renewable buildout, and accelerated coal phase-outs.
