As Africa accelerates its transition to sustainable energy, the legal and regulatory frameworks guiding investment and development are becoming more critical than ever. At the inaugural Congo Energy & Investment Forum (CEIF) 2025,<\/a> pan-African legal and advisory firm CLG (formerly Centurion Law Group)<\/a> will offer expert analysis on how legal structures shape the future of Congo\u2019s energy landscape and broader sustainability efforts.<\/p>\n

CLG, the official legal partner of CEIF 2025<\/strong>, will use this platform to address investment challenges and opportunities in Congo\u2019s evolving energy sector. Given Africa\u2019s increasing focus on sustainable energy solutions, the workshop will also highlight how regulatory frameworks can incentivize cleaner energy investments, ensuring long-term economic and environmental benefits.<\/p>\n

A major highlight of CEIF 2025 will be the unveiling of Congo\u2019s Gas Master Plan and new Gas Code, both of which are crucial for the country\u2019s gas monetization agenda. These initiatives align with Africa\u2019s broader sustainability goals, as they seek to optimize natural resource management while fostering economic growth. Additionally, Congo will launch an international oil and gas licensing round, targeting investment in both marginal and deepwater blocks as part of its strategy to double oil production by 2027.<\/p>\n
