It\u2019s loaded with the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/books\/NBK507250\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">stress-fighting mineral magnesium.<\/a>&nbsp;One cup (175 grams) of the green (cooked) contains&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/fdc.nal.usda.gov\/fdc-app.html#\/food-details\/170401\/nutrients\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">36%<\/a>&nbsp;of magnesium\u2019s recommended daily intake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your body\u2019s magnesium levels get too low, it can cause conditions like panic attacks and anxiety. And it\u2019s extra essential to consume enough of this mineral when you\u2019re stressed continuously because chronic stress may\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC6298677\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">deplete your body\u2019s magnesium stores<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Beets \/ Beetroot<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beets also contain a generous amount of folate. Just one cup supplies over 30% of the folate needed daily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Folate is one of the vitamins you need to get your daily share of because of its link with the nervous system. Too little folate in the system can trigger forgetfulness, confusion, fatigue, and insomnia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And suppose you\u2019re taking anti-inflammatory drugs, cholesterol-lowering drugs, birth control pills, or diabetes drugs.
